20KMeek Mill‘s current imprisonment will be the focus of a special criminal justice reform panel at an event in the rapper’s hometown of Philadelphia on March 13 at 4 p.m. ET, reports Philly.com.
The event is titled “REFORM: Bringing Injustice to Light” and will take place at the University of Pennsylvania’s Irving Auditorium.
Reverend Al Sharpton and Meek’s mother Kathy Williams are expected to appear as panelists.

Their hope is that the gathering will help enact an immediate reform of the criminal justice system, analyze Meek Mill’s legal case and encourage further discussion about the topic.
Those who cannot make the event in person will be able to watch it via Tidal.
Meek is currently serving a prison sentence at the Chester State Correctional Institution outside the city for violating probation.
