Matthew Baker/Getty ImagesIf you were wondering what Fred Durst is up to these days, here’s your answer: According to Variety, the Limp Bizkit frontman is directing a new movie called Moose, starring John Travolta.
In the film, Travolta will play the title character, who’s obsessed with a celebrity action star to the point of wanting to destroy his hero’s life. The plot is based on Durst’s own experience with a stalker.
Variety reports principal photography for Moose is currently underway in Alabama.
Moose is the third feature film Durst has directed, following 2007’s The Education of Charlie Banks and 2008’s The Longshots. He’s also directed a number of music videos, as well as, believe it or not, an eHarmony commercial.
