ABC/Randy HolmesFall Out Boy will appear on ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Live! tonight as part of the show’s Mean Tweets segment, during which celebrities read the terrible things people write about them on social media.
In a preview of the episode, posted by EOnline.com, bassist Pete Wentz reads a lovely message from a Twitter user who compares the Chicago rockers to a notoriously hated typeface.
“Fall Out Boy is the Comic Sans MS of music,” the tweet reads. “They are both entirely overused.”
Luckily, Wentz and company thought the tweet was pretty funny.
Musicians who’ve previously appeared during Mean Tweets include Jared Leto, Mumford & Sons, The Killers, Kid Rock and Haim. To watch tonight’s segment, tune in to ABC at 11:35 p.m. ET.
