ABC/Fred LeeIggy Azalea appears in a church, searching for someone to save her, in her “Savior” video, released today.
In the clip for her song, which features Quavo from Migos, the Aussie rapper wakes up in a cathedral wearing all white, surrounded by lit candles
She raps, “Yeah, I’m in a different place, I need someone to hold on to/ I been sendin’ up a prayer hope the call gets through,” She continues, “My path got muddy, I feel like my feet trapped/ Can you give me the strength now to beat that?”
Later, she changes clothes and appears in a black dress with an illuminated halo above on her head. She’s also baptized in the video.
“Savior”is the first single from Azalea’s long-awaited second album — renamed from Digital Distortion to Surviving the Summer — which is due out later this year.
