Getty Images via ABCA Demi Lovato/Wilmer Valderrama reunion might be in the cards.
People reports that the former couple, who have been spotted hanging out in recent days, may be on their way to getting back together.
“They’re super, super close and have a crazy love for each other,” a source tells the mag. “They’re extremely close friends but there’s always potential they could give a romantic relationship another try.”
The two dated for nearly six years before calling it quits in 2016. In her documentary Simply Complicated, which came out last fall, Demi admitted that she “never loved anybody like I loved Wilmer.”
“She’s very vocal about the fact that he is the love of her life,” the source adds. “A lot of their issues had to do with their age difference, but she’s matured a lot even in the past year or so.”
The insider says that while at first Demi was having fun being single and dating around, she’s realizing that “the grass isn’t always greener.”
Over the weekend, Demi and Wilmer were spotted grabbing lunch together at a Mexican restaurant in L.A.
