ABC/Randy HolmesIt’s official: Rae Sremmurd are dropping three new tracks Wednesday at midnight.
What’s even more interesting is that, according to the duo’s Twitter announcement Monday, one of the songs will be a group project, while the other two will be solo tunes from members Swae Lee and Slim Jxmmi.
Swae explained his plans for releasing a solo song, tweeting Monday, “Dropping my first solo song Wednesday at midnight no games no gimmicks .. and for your patience one song off the Rae Sremmurd side of the album. … and my brother dropping one off it’s gonna be some dope s*** it’s time.”
Rae Sremmurd’s new offerings follow up their release, “T’d Up,” which was featured in ESPN’s NBA campaign used for the Cleveland Cavaliers vs. Boston Celtics game in early February.
“T’d Up” comes from Rae’s forthcoming third album, SR3MM.
In January, Swae tweeted that the album he then called SremmLife3 would be a “triple disk” with “one side Rae Sremmurd, one side Slim Jxmmi, and one side Swae Lee.”
