Prince Williams/WireImageYoung Thug is recognizing his deaf mute sibling by not releasing any new music this year.
“I got a brother that can’t hear or talk, so I wanna act deaf for a year so I won’t put up any new music this year,” he tells HypeBeast. “2019, I’m a put out probably Hi Tunes.“
The rapper born Jeffery Lamar Williams has released at least one project every year of his career, with a total of 18 mixtapes since his debut in 2011.
In 2017, Thug dropped his joint project with Future, “Super Slimey,” and also “Beautiful Thugger Girls.” The Atlanta MC was also featured on several songs, including “High End” with Chris Brown, and “Trap Trap Trap” with Rick Ross.
Thug was very prominent during the recent Fashion Week in New York City and plans to focus on designing this year.
As previously reported, Young Thug announced this week he’s changing his name to SEX.
