Freeform/Aaron PooleA day after it was announced they’d be appearing on the A Wrinkle in Time soundtrack, Chloe x Halle have revealed the release date and cover art for their debut album.
The album, titled The Kids Are Alright, will come out March 23, with pre-orders beginning this Friday.
“Our debut album means so much to us!” the sibling duo tells Billboard. “This is three years of self-discovery, vulnerability, and growth, all put into one album. We’ve put our hearts and souls into every lyric, every beat, and we cannot wait for the world to hear.”
The cover art features a black-and-white photo of the two sisters, surrounded by a colorful embroidery design.
Chloe x Halle previously released the album’s title track last month. The song was featured in Freeform’s grown-ish, a show in which Chloe and Halle appear in recurring roles. Their song “Grown” also serves as the show’s theme song.
Yesterday, it was announced that their song “Warrior” would be featured on the A Wrinkle in Time soundtrack, out March 9.
