The “Broccoli” rapper announced on Instagram that his new release will be called Lil Boat 2; it arrives March 9th. It’s a sequel to his 2016 mixtape Lil Boat, and his first full-length release since his 2017 debut, Teenage Emotions.
The post features a photo of a bare-chested Yachty standing waist deep in water at sunset. There’s a latitude and longitude printed at the bottom of the photo which points to the rapper’s hometown of Atlanta. The same coordinates appeared on the bottom of the artwork for his Lil Boat mixtape.
As for YG, he announced over the weekend that his new studio album, Stay Dangerous, is coming, though there’s no release date. It’s the follow-up to his 2016 mixtape Red Friday.
Last week, the Compton rapper released his first solo track of 2018, “Suu Whoop.”
