Image Group LA/ABCTeyana Taylor officially opened her very own nail salon — Junie Bee Nails — in Harlem, New York Thursday and welcomed two influential rappers during its grand opening party: Missy Elliott and Lil Kim.
Both Missy and Kim tweeted their plans to visit the shop on Thursday, with Missy writing, “About my sis @TEYANATAYLOR grand opening got her nail shop party light night I went to was [fire emoji] [manicure emoji].”
Kim, in turn, tweeted, “On the way to see my sis @TEYANATAYLOR in Harlem!!!”
As previously noted, Teyana announced last Tuesday via Instagram her plans to open her 90’s themed Junie Bee Nails salon. “The vision has finally come to life and it’s ready! So come one, come all!” she wrote, adding, “Junie Bee Nails is granting a dope opportunity to the flyest nail techs, from around the way.”
“No matter what shape, size, color or gender it’s all good with us! I want to continue to create great opportunities for my community and our talented youth!!” she adds.
“Let’s change the game, The vision is crazy!”
Teyana also said she was accepting resumes for anyone interested in working at Junie Bee.
“DM your work, and resume to @juniebeenails,” she announced.
