Columbia Records In the film Peter Rabbit, the rascally title character, voiced by James Corden, sings a song called “I Promise You.” The track was actually written by Vampire Weekend frontman Ezra Koenig, who’s now shared his own demo version of the tune.
Along with Corden, Peter Rabbit stars Rose Byrne and Domhnall Gleeson, and features the voices of Daisy Ridley and Margot Robbie. The film is in theaters now.
In addition to writing songs for CGI bunnies, Koenig has been working with the rest of Vampire Weeekned on their next album, the follow-up to 2013’s Modern Vampires of the City.
