Jamie McCarthy/WireImageEver since it was announced that Warped Tour would be ending this year, multiple fan petitions have surfaced in an effort to convince My Chemical Romance to reunite for the last edition of the festival that helped launch the band’s career.
As spirited as those campaigns were, a tweet from the official Warped Tour account confirms that the lineup won’t feature Gerard Way and company.
“Let’s just set the record straight — we are not reuniting @MCRofficial and we’re not okay about it,” the tweet reads.
As for who will play Warped Tour’s final ride, the lineup will be revealed March 1. The tour itself will kick off June 21 in Pomona, California, and will conclude August 5 in West Palm Beach, Florida.
