ABC/Paula LoboCamila Cabello has announced her first-ever solo tour, kicking off April 9 in Vancouver. The former Fifth Harmony singer says she’s “super-excited” to create a “cool” yet “intimate” tour for her fans.
“I just really want every live performance to be amazing,” she told ABC Radio last month. “And I want people to wanna come to my concerts, not just because they are my fan, but because they wanna have a good show experience.”
If you caught Camila singing “Never Be the Same” on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon last month, you saw how she created a show-stopping performance through the use of video screens. She says she hopes to be able to do something equally impressive on the tour.
“I’m really excited to put together a show, and just thinking about ways to do stuff that I feel like hasn’t been done before,” she told ABC Radio. “It’s not gonna be big venues, it’s gonna be really, really intimate, which I’m super-excited about too, ’cause I really like getting to just feel people.”
She added, “Hopefully, I can have a really cool production while still being intimate. So yeah, I’m super-excited for tour.”
Camila’s tour is scheduled to wrap up June 13 in Amsterdam. Tickets go on sale February 16 at 10 a.m. local time via CamilaCabello.com. A portion of Camila’s proceeds from sales of VIP packages will be donated to the Children’s Health Fund.
