Raven VaronaCardi B‘s star keeps rising in both music and fashion, which is how she encountered no less an industry power player than Vogue Editor-in-Chief Anna Wintour.
New York Times style reporter Matthew Schneier posted a snapshot of Cardi and Wintour meeting each other for the first time at designer Alexander Wang‘s most recent New York Fashion week show.
The two sat side-by-side and Wintour, who’s rumored to be somewhat unfriendly, is smiling at the rapper, who’s wearing a black leather and beige ensemble, complete with what looks like a black leather head wrap.
Of course, fans also commented on Cardi and Anna’s meeting.
One wrote on Twitter, “Cardi B entire look just works. That turban is fiyaahh but Anna Wintour smile is what I am here for. Have you ever seen anyone to happy to be money moves next to Queen B?!”
Another Twitter user added,” Cardi B is in Better Company these days 🙂 #LuvIt!! #KeepRisen, Gurl!”
Cardi B is set to accompany Bruno Mars on the final leg of his 24K Magic tour, which kicks off September 7 in Denver, CO.
Tickets go on sale February 16.
