Courtesy of L7The L7 comeback train rolls on with a raucous new song, “I Came Back to B****.” The track is streaming now via YouTube.
Lead singer Donita Sparks tells Rolling Stone that the song was inspired by seeing the finance bros of Wall Street “high-fiving each other, calling each other rock stars…but they’re not contributing anything to society.”
“That pisses us off,” Sparks says.
“I Came Back to B****” follows the single “Dispatch from Mar-a-Lago,” released last fall. That track was L7’s first new song in 18 years.
L7 will play a batch of U.S. headlining dates this spring starting April 11 in Boston.
