ABC/Randy HolmesYeah Yeah Yeahs provide the soundtrack to the trailer for the upcoming second season of the Netflix Marvel series Jessica Jones, which stars Krysten Ritter as the titular reluctant superhero.
In the clip, the band’s song “Runaway,” which appears on their 2009 album It’s Blitz!, plays while Jessica does what she does best: She drinks, punches through walls and throws out sarcastic one-liners.
Season two, which arrives three years after 2015’s premiere season, will focus on how Jessica got her superpowers. It hits Netflix on March 8, which, not coincidentally, is also International Women’s Day.
Yeah Yeah Yeahs also recently returned from hiatus: Last fall, they played their first shows together in four years. This spring, they’ll play two Los Angeles shows with LCD Soundsystem, and they’ll perform at the Governors Ball festival in June.
