ABC/Randy HolmesParamore has premiered the video for “Rose-Colored Boy,” a track from the band’s latest album, After Laughter. You can watch the clip now via YouTube.
The video finds singer Hayley Williams and company hosting a cheery local morning news show, and takes a few turns towards the surreal. It also touches on the feeling of pretending to be happy to mask sadness, a recurring theme throughout After Laughter, especially on the singles “Hard Times” and “Fake Happy.”
Paramore launches an Australian tour in support of After Laughter later this week. They’ll return to the U.S. to play the festivals Boston Calling and Bonnaroo.
