ABC/Randy HolmesIf you’re putting together a Valentine’s Day playlist, Dan Auerbach has a song for you. The Black Keys frontman has released a new track called “Up on a Mountain of Love,” which you can listen to now via YouTube.
“This song was inspired by new love,” Auerbach tells Entertainment Weekly, adding that the track “appeared out of thin air.”
“Up on a Mountain of Love” is accompanied by an animated video, which finds a young couple enjoying a walk alongside a whole bunch of woodland critters.
“The animation allowed us to be as magical as possible and that was our goal for the video,” Auerbach says.
Auerbach will kick off a tour February 10 in Vancouver in support of his new solo album, Waiting on a Song.
