Brian Rasic/WireImageThe cast of Netflix’s Motley Crue biopic is rounding into shape
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Game of Thrones‘ Iwan Rheon and The Punisher‘s Daniel Webber are in talks to join the project as guitarist Mick Mars and frontman Vince Neil.
Douglas Booth has already signed on to play Nikki Sixx and last week rapper and actor Machine Gun Kelly inked a deal to play drummer Tommy Lee.
Jeff Tremaine, director and producer of the Jackass movies, is directing. The script was written by Rich Wilkes and Tom Kapinos. The movie is based on the 2001 band autobiography, The Dirt, co-written with Neil Strauss. The film will follow Motley’s rise during the ’80s scene on Sunset Strip and promises to pull no punches.
Last Thursday, Tommy Lee tweeted an update revealing that the movie is set to begin shooting next month.
