It must be “God’s Plan” for Drake‘s rule Billboard‘s Hot 100.
The rapper’s smash hit is now #1 on the chart for a ninth week since its January debut.
“God’s Plan” is only the fifth song on the Hot 100’s 59-year history to spend its first nine weeks on the chart at number one.
In addition, the track is also number-one for a ninth week on Billboard‘s Hot R&B Hip-Hop Songs and Hot Rap Songs charts.
As previously reported, Drizzy is also apparently cooking up a new jam.
A screenshot of an Instagram live chat from producer Murda Beatz and captured by Real Rap magazine shows a comment from Drizzy that reads, “New single soon produced by Chef Murda.”
Murda paused the video, reports Billboard, “to give a shout-out to Drake,” and also “told the rapper that he’s ready and waiting for him to finish up the single.”
