ABC/Richard CartwrightWu-Tang Clan leader RZA is taking his 36th Chamber of Shaolin tour back on the road in April, according to Billboard.
The tour’s first version took place in 2016; this new installment will run for five dates.
The shows are based on the 1978 Hong Kong kung fu film The 36th Chamber of Shaolin and feature RZA live-scoring the movie from start to finish.
The superstar is known for his love of martial arts cinema and culture, which, of course, heavily influenced on Wu-Tang’s music.
As you may recall, the group’s 1993 debut album Enter the Wu-Tang was subtitled 36 Chambers.
Here are the dates for RZA’s Live from the 36th Chamber of Shaolin tour:
4/17 — Denver, CO, Paramount Theatre
4/18 — Washington DC, Warner Theatre
4/20 — Miami, FL, Lemon City Studios (III Joints Fest)
