ABC/Fred LeePanic! at the Disco didn’t play any new music at their tiny surprise gig in Cleveland Monday, but the band did introduce a new bassist: Nicole Row.
“Ok…I can finally say it. Playing bass for @panicatthedisco!” Row wrote in an Instagram post Tuesday morning. “Love these dudes so much already. Not only the band, but the whole team is incredible. So grateful to be a part of this crew.”
Row takes over bass duties from Dallon Weekes, who left Panic! late last year. Row’s previously played with artists including Miley Cyrus, Daya and Troye Sivan.
The Cleveland gig took place Monday night after weeks of teasing that something Panic!-related would be happening on March 19. Many guessed that new music could be dropping that day, but that didn’t happen. However, Panic! has now begun teasing the date March 21, the same day they’ll be playing NBC’s The Tonight Show. So feel free to restart the hype train.
