Def Jam RecordingsTwo new entries take the top two spots on the latest Billboard 200 album chart.
Logic tops the tally with his new mixtape, Bobby Tarantino II, which debuts at number one with 119,000 equivalent album units earned in its first week of release. Most of that number came from streaming, with 32,000 units coming from traditional album sales.
It marks the second time Logic has topped the Billboard 200, as the rapper’s most recent studio album, Everybody, topped the chart last year with 247,000 units moved.
Coming in behind Logic at a distant number two is fellow rapper Lil Yachty, who moved 64,000 equivalent album units of his new album, Lil Boat 2. Of that number, only 7,000 were traditional album sales.
Elsewhere in the top ten, Black Panther: The Album, which was curated by and features music from Kendrick Lamar, drops from number one to number four on the new chart with 63,000 equivalent album units.
