Neil Mockford/GC ImagesIt appears that Kanye West is having legal troubles once again.
The “Gold Digger” rapper is being sued for reportedly ripping off a camouflage design for the season five collection of his Yeezy clothing label.
People reports that a clothing business based in Columbus, Georgia called Jordan Outdoor Enterprises filed a lawsuit against Ye, claiming that the rapper’s camouflage print is an “unauthorized copy of their Realtree collection.”
According to People, NBA superstar LeBron James‘ Unknwn fashion brand is also named in the lawsuit.
Jordan Outdoor Enterprises is reportedly also accusing Yeezy of “removing its trademarks from the original camo print without official license or authorization prior to copying.”
According to court documents obtained by People, a rep from Kanye’s Yeezy empire contacted Jordan Outdoor in March 2016 “with inquiries about their camouflage design,” but both parties stopped communication with one another when Jordan Outdoor began to inquire about licensing.
The Yeezy season five collection debuted at New York Fashion Week in February of last year.
Fans can view each piece of clothing, including the ones sporting a camo print, on GQ‘s website.
As previously noted, in February, Kanye West’s Very Good Touring and a group of insurance companies associated with Lloyds of London settled lawsuits over money the rapper claims was owed him following cancellation of his 2016 Saint Pablo tour.
According to TMZ, the insurers agreed to pay much of what Very Good Touring claimed it was owed under a policy due to the cancellation of the tour.
