ABC/Randy HolmesRemy Ma is officially making her jump from reality TV to scripted television.
USA has announced that the Love & Hip Hop star has landed a guest-starring role on the upcoming third season of USA’s Queen of the South.
According to the network, Remy will play Vee, a “key member of Chicago drug mogul Devon Finch’s security detail.”
Vee is described as deeply loyal and “efficient in combat and weaponry,” and someone her boss can depend on.
Queen of the South follows Teresa Mendoza, played by Alice Braga, a woman who flees Mexico after her drug-dealing boyfriend is murdered and later manages to build a drug empire of her own in the U.S.
The third season of Queen of the South is currently in production and does not yet have a set date for its premiere.
