ABC/Image Group LAEarlier this year, Mike Shinoda released a three-song solo EP called Post Traumatic. Now, it appears that a full-length album from the Linkin Park vocalist and multi-instrumentalist is in the works.
In an Instagram post Thursday, Shinoda announced that he’d be filming a music video for what he called “my solo album” in Hollywood that night, and invited anyone was interested to attend. According to official fan site Linkin Park Live, Shinoda confirmed at the video shoot that he was working on an album.
Along with the new material, Shinoda will make his live solo debut at Japan’s Summer Sonic festival in August. He also has hopes to play a full-scale solo tour, and if you want him to play your city, visit WeDemand.com.
