Tory Lanez at Music Choice; Juan NavarroTory Lanez‘s nearly two-year beef with Drake officially ended in May and the rapper tells Music Choicein a new interview that squashing his rivalry with the “God’s Plan” artist was a “big moment in hip-hop and in music.”
He adds, “Not to disrespect anybody, I just think that we’re, like, probably two of the most talented artists in the game…the fact that something can come out of [the end of our beef] is big.”
“It would be one thing for us to just be like, ‘Cool. Everything’s cool. But I’m never making music with you.’ But I do believe we’ll probably do something this year, for sure.”
Meanwhile, fans can now listen to “Pieces,” a collaboration between Tory and 50 Cent on Tory’s latest album, Memories Don’t Die.
Tory says, “I think 50 Cent was probably the most memorable feature on [the album].”
Fiddy is also a part of Tory’s accompanying movie for the album. He explains that the film, called I Told You Memories Don’t Die, “takes place from the story of the first album and then kind of insinuates some of the music from this album, but…the story of it is crazy.”
“It’s about my life, but also a couple twists and turns. It’s crazy, yo. It’s a dope movie. It will be here probably in the spring, I wanna say,” he adds.
