ABC/Randy HolmesAs part of Pitchfork‘s “In Sight Out” series Monday night, The Museum of Contemporary Art in Chicago hosted a discussion with Chance the Rapper.
During the event, Chance talked about a number of things, such as the most “significant creative insight” he learned from fellow Chicagoan Kanye West.
As featured in a post-discussion tweet from MCA Chicago, Chance says Ye “showed me how to multitask and use the studio for more than making music…he’ll rent out a whole studio and fill it up with different projects.”
Chance also confirmed his forthcoming collaboration with Atlanta actor-creator Donald Glover, a.k.a. Childish Gambino.
When asked about the possibility of a joint project from the two, Chance said, “We perpetuated that rumor for a long time without recording anything…We did link up in Atlanta and record some tracks and… they’re amazing.”
However, Chance was much more vague when it came to confirming if a joint Chance/Kanye release is, or might be, in the works.
His answer? “Uhhhhhh…. I guess!”
