Julian Casablancas with The Strokes; ABC/Randy HolmesThe Strokes frontman Julian Casablancas has released a new song with his band The Voidz. The track is called “All Wordz Are Made Up” — that’s “words” with a “z” — and if anyone should know that, it’s a band called The Voidz, also spelled with a “z.”
“All Wordz Are Made Up” is available now for digital download, and it’s streaming alongside a characteristically bizarre video that recalls the early era of MTV. You can watch the clip now on YouTube.
The new track appears on The Voidz’ forthcoming sophomore album Virtue, which will be released March 30.
Meanwhile, Casablancas’ Strokes band mate Albert Hammond Jr. also released a new song today, titled “Set to Attack.” The track will appear on his new solo album Francis Trouble, which arrives March 9.
