ABC/Randy HolmesAJR has reached the top of the Billboard Alternative Songs chart with their hit single “Sober Up.” The track currently sits at number one on the tally, dethroning Alice Merton‘s “No Roots.”
“Can’t really believe what we’re looking at,” AJR tweeted in response to the news. “Thank you to our team and everyone who’s believed in these weird ideas.”
“Sober Up,” which features guest vocals from Weezer‘s Rivers Cuomo, appears on AJR’s new album The Click, which was released last year.
AJR will resume a headlining North American tour in support of The Click March 17 in Salt Lake City.
