Credit: Olivia BeeThe Smashing Pumpkins‘ Shiny and Oh So Bright tour just got a bit shinier and brighter. The reunited ’90s alt-rock vets have announced second shows in Chicago and Los Angeles on August 14 and August 31, respectively.
Tickets will go on sale next Monday, March 5 via SmashingPumpkins.com.
While the original dates in Chicago and Los Angeles are sold out, reports surfaced this week that tickets to the tour have not been selling well in certain markets.
Twitter user @Solace first pointed out something that’s confirmed by a look at Ticketmaster pages: There are still plenty of tickets available for shows in cities such as Sioux Falls, South Dakota, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and Detroit. Tickets went on sale for the original wave of shows last Friday, February 23.
