ABC/ Ida Mae AstuteJanelle Monae‘s third album, titled Dirty Computer, is coming, and the “Yoga” singer has released a heart-stopping trailer to announce both it and the disc’s accompanying “emotion picture.”
The definition of an “emotion picture,” according to Janelle, is a “narrative film and accompanying musical album.”
The trailer, which you can watch on YouTube and via the singer’s social media accounts, quickly shows numerous scenes of a futuristic, sci-fi world.
At the start, we see Janelle lying on what looks like a bed in an experimental science lab of sorts.
Creed actress Tessa Thompson also stars in the visual.
As of Friday afternoon, no further information on the release date of Dirty Computer or Janelle’s accompanying emotion picture has been made public.
