Credit: Claude GassianThe Rolling Stones Exhibit, a.k.a. Exhibitionism, will be moving from Sin City to Music City. After the expansive display wraps up its run at the Palazzo resort in Las Vegas on Sunday, February 25, it will be opening at the Musicians Hall of Fame and Museum in Nashville on March 29.
The exhibition’s Nashville run will mark the attraction’s final stop on its U.S. tour, which also included engagements in New York City and Chicago. Exhibitionism premiered at London’s Saatchi Gallery in April 2016. Tickets for the Nashville display can be purchased online now at StonesExhibit.com.
“We’re all in for a rare treat,” says Musicians Hall of Fame and Museum CEO and founder Joe Chambers in a statement. “Hosting The Rolling Stones Exhibit…and pairing it with our museum that celebrates the achievements of all musicians around the globe establishes a can’t-miss destination worth traveling from anywhere for music fans.”
Created with the full cooperation of The Rolling Stones, the exhibit features various themed areas incorporating more than 500 artifacts, including guitars, costumes, photos, posters and more. Among the displays are replicas of the seedy London apartment some of the band members shared in 1962, a recording studio, and a backstage area at one of the group’s concerts. Visitors also will be able to enjoy previously unheard audio tracks, as well as rare video clips and film presentations, including a 3-D concert performance.
The Rolling Stones Exhibit‘s run in Nashville is scheduled through June 30. It’s slated to move to Sydney, Australia, in November of this year.
