Credit: Guy ArochArcade Fire, Death from Above and Nickelback are among the nominees for the 2018 Juno Awards, the Canadian equivalent of the Grammys.
Arcade Fire’s Everything Now is up for Album of the Year and Alternative Album of the Year, while its title track is nominated for Single of the Year. The band themselves are also up for Group of the Year.
Meanwhile, Death from Above’s Outrage! Is Now and Nickelback’s Feed the Machine will compete in the Rock Album of the Year category, as will Wake Up Call, the latest effort from Theory, formerly known as Theory of a Deadman.
Additionally, the late Gord Downie, who fronted the beloved Canadian alt-rock outfit The Tragically Hip up until his death in 2017, is nominated for several Junos, including Artist of the Year.
