Monday, the “My Man” singer told fans via Instagram that she was “so happy, honored and BLESSED to be shooting my very FIRST movie.”
“OMG I’m having a BLAST,” she added in the caption next to a picture of her wearing what appears to be a waitress uniform, complete with a “Celia” nametag.
Toni’s latest TV movie project, Lifetime’s Faith Under Fire, premiered in late January.
She starred as real-life heroine Antoinette Tuff, who saved hundreds of lives after a gunman charged into an Atlanta elementary school in 2013.
As of Tuesday afternoon, no other information about Tamar’s first film role is available.
However, according to a tweet she wrote Monday, you can find out how to cook the entertainer’s “quick and easy Peach Cobbler” on her official Facebook page.
