Credit: Guy ArochArcade Fire‘s Win Butler and Regine Chassagne guest on a new song called “Ann Ale! (Let’s Go!),” a track recorded for the upcoming Krewe du Kanaval, a New Orleans parade and festival in celebration of Haitian culture.
The track was recorded in New Orleans last week, and also features the Preservation Hall Horns and Haitian band RAM. You can listen to it now via Kanaval.org.
The Krewe du Kanaval will be held in New Orleans this Tuesday, February 6. Both Butler and Chassagne will be in attendance.
Chassagne, who is of Haitian descent, is the co-founder of KANPE, a charity in support of Haitian “health, nutrition, housing, education, agriculture and leadership.”
