Yorke’s score is a mostly electronic instrumental, with brief instances of the musician singing the line “Why can’t we get along.” According to the description of the film, the music is supposed to create a “feeling of friction, which is paralleled by the movement of the cast of characters.”
This isn’t the first time Rag & Bone has enlisted Yorke’s musical services — he’s previously written songs for the label’s Fashion Week events.
In related Radiohead happenings, guitarist Jonny Greenwood‘s soundtrack for the film Phantom Thread is nominated for Best Original Score at the 2018 Academy Awards, which air March 4 on ABC.
