Credit: Ira ChernovaCage the Elephant is working on new music. The band has posted a photo of drummer Jared Champion playing the drums in the studio, along with the caption “New jaaaaaaaaams in the works.”
The potential new album will be the follow-up to 2015’s Dan Auerbach-produced Tell Me I’m Pretty, which won a Grammy for Best Rock Album. Since then, Cage also released a live album, titled Unpeeled.
Perhaps Matt Shultz and company will debut new music when they play this year’s New Orleans Jazz Fest, taking place April 27 through May 6.
