David M. Russell, Disney/ABC Home Entertainment and TV Distribution With her role in Fifty Shades Freed and contribution to the movie’s soundtrack, we’re getting to see the many shades of Rita Ora.
The singer-actress appeared on Live with Kelly and Ryan Thursday morning to discuss her involvement in the film, in which she plays Christian Grey’s sister, Mia. Rita says she loves playing a character that “just basically does what she wants.”
Rita also duets with Liam Payne on the soundtrack’s lead single, “For You.”
“It’s really nice to just be involved in such a great movie, but you know we have the lead single that we just dropped as well which is really cool — and the soundtrack, which is awesome!” she gushed. “So the whole soundtrack is really cool.”
The Fifty Shades Freed album also features contributions from Hailee Steinfeld, Julia Michaels and Sia. It comes out February 9, the same day the film, starring Dakota Johnson and Jamie Dornan, hits theaters.
