Chiaki Nozu/WireImageVampire Weekend is returning to the stage. The band is headlining the U.K.’s End of the Road festival, held August 30 to September 2.
The festival, which will also feature sets by St. Vincent, Feist and Wilco‘s Jeff Tweedy, is the first official Vampire Weekend show to be announced since 2014, though members of the band did play together at several Bernie Sanders rallies in 2016.
In addition to their live return, Vampire Weekend has also been working on a new album, the follow-up to 2013’s Modern Vampires of the City. Last September, frontman Ezra Koenig said that the album was “80% done.”
The new album will be Vampire Weekend’s first since founding member Rostam Batmanglij announced in 2016 that he was leaving the band.
