Ethan Miller/Getty Images via ABCDrake has now surpassed JAY-Z to have the most Billboard Hot 100 top 10s among rappers, with a total of twenty-two hits. JAY currently has twenty-one.
Billboard reports that the “Hotline Bling” rapper added his 21st and 22nd top 10s in January with his latest tracks “God’s Plan” and “Diplomatic Immunity.”
Both songs are featured on Drizzy’s new two-track project, Scary Hours, which arrived on January 19.
“God’s Plan” debuted at #1 on the Hot 100 on Monday and “Diplomatic Immunity” launched at number seven on the chart as well.
This makes Drake one of only two acts who’ve ever debuted two songs in the top 10 of the Hot 100 simultaneously; the other is Ed Sheeran.
Drizzy is also the first artist ever to debut two songs in the top 10 on the Hot 100 twice.
He previously pulled this off last year when, in April, “Passionfruit” landed at number eight and “Portland” at number 9.
