This year marks the 26th edition of the Rocket Man’s annual event. John usually plays a song or two himself at the party — perhaps he and the “Highway Tune” rockers might team up for a performance. We suggest a mash-up of “Safari Song” and “Crocodile Rock.”
In addition to the music, guests will enjoy a “sumptuous dinner” prepared by the chefs of El Celler de Can Roca in Girona, Spain, which has been voted among the top three restaurants in the world.
Over the past 25 years, Elton’s party, which also includes an auction of valuable and unique items and experiences, has raised more than $62 million for the Elton John AIDS Foundation.
Among the co-chairs of this year’s event: Sharon Osbourne, Beck and Steven Tyler, as well as Katy Perry, Sarah Silverman, Jim Carrey, Ellen DeGeneres, Tyler Perry and Neil Patrick Harris.
Greta Van Fleet is currently working on their debut full-length album. They’ll be touring this U.S. this spring, including a stop at Coachella.
