ABC/Randy HolmesIt looks like Migos‘ latest album could be headed to the top of the Billboard 200 chart.
According to the publication, the hip-hop trio’s third album, Culture II, could sell between 180,000 and 200,000 equivalent album units in the week ending February 1, mostly driven by streaming.
Should Culture II land at #1 on the Billboard 200, this achievement will make Migos the fifth rap group with more than one #1 disc. Their sophomore album, Culture, launched at number one on the chart last year.
Only the Beastie Boys, A Tribe Called Quest, Bone Thugs-N-Harmony and D12 have accomplished the same feat.
Over the weekend, Migos debuted the kung-fu inspired music video for their track “Stir Fry.”
The song, which was produced by Pharrell, is featured on Culture II.
