According to data from Twitter, the most-tweeted moment of the evening was when Kesha’s empowering #MeToo performance ended and Camila Cabello introduced U2’s immigration-themed performance. That moment was followed by Alessia Cara winning Best New Artist, Bruno Mars winning Album of the Year, Ed Sheeran winning Best Pop Solo Performance, and Elton John and Miley Cyrus performing “Tiny Dancer.”
Camila Cabello was the most-tweeted about star of the night, followed by Lady Gaga, Lana Del Ray, SZA and Miley Cyrus. The most-tweeted about song of the night was “Despacito.” Kendrick Lamar‘s “HUMBLE.,” Gaga’s “Million Reasons,” Bruno and Cardi B‘s “Finesse” and Gaga’s “Joanne” rounded out the top five.
On Instagram, the night’s top-liked Grammys post was a pre-Grammys Rihanna posing all in white next to an ironing board, with the caption, “stay pressed.” That post received more than two million likes.
Numbers two through five on the list were all Cardi B photos, including three that showcased her angelic red carpet look.
