ABC/Randy HolmesFlavor Flav may have received an epic beatdown in Las Vegas on Tuesday — with video to prove it.
TMZ has posted the video, which purports to show a man named Ugandi Howard punching another man, said to be Flav, who’s trying to block the attack while on the floor of the South Point Casino in Sin City.
You can also see and hear a third man in the video telling the attacker to stop.
By the end of the visual, the assailant is apprehended and taken away by the casino’s security guards.
TMZ adds that Flav allegedly told police Howard accused him of “dissing his mother” and then started throwing punches.
He says Howard punched him in the face and kicked him while he was down on the ground, due to pulling a groin muscle.
Flav reportedly only suffered minor injuries. Meanwhile, Howard was allegedly cited for battery and released from custody.
ABC News has reached out to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department for a statement.
Although the Public Enemy rapper has yet to publicly speak about the alleged assault, he posted two cryptic tweets the day of the incident.
The first reads, “#FLAVOR FLAV God said IT’S OK TODAY BE YOUR BEST & JUST HAVE FUN FLAVOR FLAV,” while the other, more pointedly, says, “#FLAVOR FLAV You cant continue to do bad s**t to good people and expect good results. It doesn’t work that way. What goes on in the dark will soon come out in the light. Honesty is the best policy. FLAVOR FLAV.”
