Now, several big-name artists have congratulated the NBA star on his historical achievement.
Drake, JAY Z, Nas and Sean “Diddy” Combs all sent their praises to LeBron via videos shared on the pro-basketball player’s media channel, The Uninterrupted.
In his message Drake says, “It’s incredible. It seems like every time we look up you’re setting another milestone or breaking another record, and I always tell you you’re one of the most inspirational people in my life. I’m honored to call you a brother.”
Drizzy adds, “Every time you do something like this I always try and get in the studio and make a song that would go with the moment. So, I’m excited to go to work tonight.”
Meanwhile, JAY says in his video statement, “Congratulations to my brother, LeBron James. 30,000 points. An amazing accomplishment to inspire us all on and off the court…so proud of you.”
In the same video Nas adds, “Yo, whattup LeBron. Congratulations. 30,000 points. That’s major. Keep it up. I think you might be able to break the great Kareem Abdul Jabbar‘s record. Salute.”
Jabbar holds the record as the leading scorer in NBA history, with over 38,000 career points.
Diddy also offers his thoughts, stating, “30,000 points? You know how hard you have to work to score 30,000 points? The youngest player in NBA history. My hat goes off to you my brother. We love you. We appreciate you. We congratulate you.”
