Credit: Jess GriffinAnn Wilson apparently is still estranged from her sister and Heart band mate Nancy, but the singer promises fans that she has some interesting new music in the works that she’s looking forward to sharing with them soon.
In a message posted on her official website, Ann reports, “2018 is shaping up to be a super exciting year for myself and many of my close musician friends and heroes. In the coming weeks I will be announcing a new recording project that is very near and dear to my heart.”
She adds, “I am deeply inspired to make this music and can’t wait to take you all on the journey with me.”
Wilson’s Ann Wilson of Heart solo project also has a handful of upcoming tour dates scheduled, spanning from a February 9 concert in Tacoma, Washington, through an April 8 gig in St. Charles, Illinois. She also reveals that she and her “fantastic” solo band “will be announcing a killer summer tour that you will not want to miss,” and promises to announce details of the trek as soon as they are confirmed.
