ABC/Randy HolmesHip-hop trio Migos is on the cover of Rolling Stone‘s latest issue. However, it’s one of the group’s members, Offset, who’s been in several major headlines in recent weeks, particularly when it comes to his equally famous fiancée, Cardi B. The recording artist tells the magazine that the pair are in no rush to plan their wedding, saying, “We chilling. We don’t got time for that right now.”
When pressed further about the reason behind the delay, Offset adds, “It’s my real life. It ain’t no gig. It ain’t no f*****g game, you know what I’m saying? It ain’t no game. It’s my life.”
After becoming engaged in October, Offset and Cardi were both hit with alleged nude video scandals in December. Offset also has been accused of cheating on Cardi and a woman has already claimed that she’s carrying his baby.
Since the allegations, Cardi has continued to defend Offset.
Aside from the rumors and scandals, Migos is gearing up for the highly anticipated release of their third studio album, Culture II, arriving Friday. Offset says that the album will be “club rocking.”
“The beat, the bass is everything. We’re not really a slow-down artist. It’s light, it’s fun, it’s lit,” he continues.
Takeoff adds, “It’s still trap. We got a little funkier. It’s not all the way funk. There’s still a Migos vibe.”
