After cutting short its 2017 Tonnage Tour last October when bassist Dusty Hill came down with “a tummy ailment,” ZZ Top is now set to return to the stage in April for a five-date engagement at The Venetian Theatre in Las Vegas. The shows are scheduled for April 20, 21, 25, 27 and 28.
Tickets for the concerts will go on sale to the general public this Friday, January 26, at 10 a.m. PT via Ticketmaster.com, Venetian.com, box offices at The Venetian and The Palazzo hotels, and by calling 702-414-9000 or 866-641-7469.
Pre-sale tickets will be available to ZZ Top fan club members starting Tuesday, January 23, at 10 a.m. PT, and to Live Nation and Ticketmaster customers and Grazie loyalty members beginning Wednesday, January 24, at 10 a.m. PT.
ZZ Top postponed about 19 dates because of Hill’s health issue, spanning from an October 15 concert in Baltimore through a December 29 show in Thackerville, Oklahoma. No word if those performances will be rescheduled.
As previously reported, ZZ Top frontman Billy Gibbons is among the many stars who will be performing at the 2018 Love Rocks NYC! benefit concert March 15 at the Beacon Theatre in New York City. The show will raise money for the God’s Love We Deliver charity, which provides nutritious meals to seriously ill people in the New York City area.
