George Pimentel/Getty ImagesIt’s still not clear when Avril Lavigne will be releasing her new album, but she’s giving us an idea of what we can expect from it.
After a fan tweeted Avril, asking her to describe her upcoming sixth studio release, the singer responded, “Personal, dear, intimate, dramatic, raw, powerful, strong and unexpected.”
She added, “This record is a true emotional journey.”
In August, Avril tweeted that new music would “be here before you know” and thanked fans for their patience, but she has yet to announce a release date. Her last album, Avril Lavigne, came out back in 2013.
Avril’s new album will mark her first release on her new record label, BMG, and her first batch of new music since she was briefly sidelined after being diagnosed with Lyme disease in 2014.
